Frequently Asked Questions

How do your puppy classes work?

The Puppy Life Skills classes are over the course of two months totaling eight sessions in all. Participants have the option to either pay in full (£158) or pay half when they book and the other half when the second month starts (£79 per month). The class is kept small and has a maximum of four puppies in. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 18:00 - 19:00.

Is there an age limit for puppy classes?

Yes, to join the Puppy Life Skills class, the age limit is six months of age at the beginning of the course.

My dog is over the puppy age limit but I want them to come to the adolescent class, is there a way we can still join?

Yes! Book a free 15-minute Zoom consultation here and we can discuss, but we will have to do a package of 1:1s to work on some things as this will mean that we can get to know each other and will also be able to assess if your dog will work in the class.

Do you do one-to-one sessions?

Indeed, we love one-to-one sessions! The best thing to do is to book a free 15-minute Zoom consultation here to discuss what it is that you want to work on and we can discuss the package that is right for you. You can read more about one-to-one sessions on our coaching page.

What other activities/training do you offer?

At the moment we offer workshops in Gundog, Scentwork, and Mantrailing, but if you are looking to cover something else, get in touch as we may be able to help out in one-to-one sessions.

How do I find the training centre?

You should now be able to search for “Woof and Wood” on Google Maps, but if not, the training centre is on the Holidays With My Dogs site, you can head to this page on their website.
